Transparent Legal Fees That Work Around You
At Rapid Law Ltd, we believe the cost of legal advice should never stand between you and the help you need. As a legal consultancy rather than a traditional law firm, our overheads are lower and we pass that saving directly on to our clients. We are always open and honest about costs from the very first conversation, so you know exactly what you are paying and why before you commit to anything.
We understand that different legal matters call for different fee arrangements. That is why we offer a range of flexible pricing options depending on the nature of your case.
No Win No Fee
For certain types of cases, we can offer a no win no fee arrangement, formally known as a Conditional Fee Agreement. This means that if your case is unsuccessful, you pay nothing. If your case succeeds, legal fees are recovered from the other party or their insurer. We will advise you clearly at the outset whether your matter is suitable for a no win no fee arrangement.
Fixed Fee
For many of our services, we offer a fixed fee so you know the full cost of your legal advice before we begin. Fixed fees are particularly common for applications, document preparation, and straightforward legal matters where the scope of work is clearly defined from the start. There are no hidden charges and no unexpected bills.
Hourly Rate
For more complex or unpredictable matters where the amount of work required cannot be determined in advance, we charge an agreed hourly rate. We will always discuss and agree the hourly rate with you before we begin and keep you informed of costs as your matter progresses. As a legal consultancy, our hourly rates are significantly lower than those of traditional law firms.
How We Handle Your Licensing Matter
1
Initial Consultation
We assess your licensing requirements, review your current situation, and advise on the most appropriate application or course of action for your specific circumstances.
2
Application Preparation
We prepare your application carefully, ensuring all required documentation is complete and correct, and that it addresses all relevant regulatory requirements.
3
Submission and Representation
We submit your application on your behalf, deal with any objections or representations received, and represent you at any hearings required by the licensing authority.
4
Appeals and Enforcement Defence
If your application is refused or a licence is revoked, we act quickly to appeal the decision. We also defend clients facing enforcement action for alleged licence breaches, including HMO and taxi licensing matters.
